The rumor mill has been working overtime according to the MGMT camp, who have refuted claims that originated in British tabloid newspaper The Sun.

 “Not only is Kirsten Dunst NOT dating Van Wyngarden, she was in Los Angeles during the festivals The Sun claimed she was attending in Europe,” said the MGMT spokesperson. The original story spun an intriguing web that claimed Van Wyngarden had also dated Fabiola Gatti, who had been stepping out with Dunst’s ex, Razorlight singer Johnny Borrel. “Van Wyngarden never dated Fabiola Gatti,” says the MGMT camp, which appears to put an end to this particular chain of rumors.
