Kings Of Leon More Popular Than Eminem In The U.K.

Remember all those stories about Kings of Leon circa Because of the Times that posited that the Kings of Leon were really huge in the U.K., and they should be in the U.S., because of colonialism, or whatever? Turns out those stories weren’t shit: Kings of Leon are officially more popular than Eminem in the U.K. as the group’s (awful) Come Around Sundown sold 183,000 copies in its first week out, more than Em’s 139,438 for Recovery. The Kings are England’s biggest first week seller this year, a feat they surely won’t match stateside. They’ll probably pull down a number one album, but they won’t top Drake or Em. [Spinner
