It's going to be hard to avoid busting out a lot of schadenfreude here, but I'll try anyway: At a show in Dallas this Friday, Kings of Leon appeared to have an onstage fight, as lead singer Caleb Followill walked offstage after telling the crowd, "I'm gonna go backstage and I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out and play three more songs," before walking offstage and not returning. The rest of the band apologized profusely, and the band's management blamed dehydration and exhaustion this weekend, but bassist Jared Followill said this on his Twitter:
"Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words," he wrote, later adding, "I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."
The group was forced to postpone a show in Houston this weekend, following the aborted show in Dallas. You can watch a video of the show below. [Billboard]
