EMI Music has just put out word that Norway's Kings of Convenience have postponed their North American tour -- their first in five years. Why? Well, they don't say. They only mention it was pushed back due to "unforseen circumstances."
New dates have been rescheduled for June and current ticket-holders' tickets will be honored.
As a consolation for the postponement, ticket-holders will given an opportunity to download an exclusive track, "Love is No Big Truth," for free via their local promoter. The tune was recorded for Italian radio and will be available on the band's upcoming iTunes exclusive EP "Live Acoustic Sessions: Milan," due out Feb. 23.
The new Tour Dates are as follows:
06.01 Philadelphia PA: Theatre of Living Arts
06.02 Boston MA: Paradise Rock Club
06.04 Brooklyn NY: Warsaw
06.05 New York NY: Webster Hall
06.06 Washington DC: 9.30 Club
06.08 Toronto ON: Phoenix Concert Theatre
06.09 Pontiac MI: Crofoot Ballroom
06.10 Chicago IL: Metro
it's mentioned on their myspace page that eirik is ill, so they had to postpone the date.
