King Khan Tour Resumes, Tour Manager Pleads Guilty

The arrest of King Khan and some of his touring partners may have thrown a spanner in the works of their most recent set of dates, but things are slowly returning to normal. Some shows have been canceled, but their activities are set to resume tonight (Nov. 17) when King Khan & the BBQ Show will be at the Troubador in Los Angeles.

Magic mushrooms were found on the King Khan tour bus, and tour manager Kristin Klein plead guilty yesterday to second-degree possession of a controlled substance in Christian County, Kentucky. Klein was driving the vehicle when they were pulled over for a random search.

Klein claimed she was unaware of the substances they were carrying, and appears to have had an invalid driving license—she will have to answer a charge relating to the latter when she appears in court on April 2, 2010. The tour manager has subsequently rejoined Khan and hit the road again, and mayhem of a different kind will occur as the shows resume tonight.
