As anyone that has seen the garage rock glory of a King Khan concert can tell you, his highness puts on a hell of a live show, harkening back to the days of James Brown and other rock and soul legends. This month, Vice is re-releasing King Khan and the Shrines’ excellent 2007 album, What Is?!, an album previously only available through import. As a part of the iTunes release, Vice is including a 20-minute documentary, called Mr. Supernatural, which gives newcomers a glimpse into King Khan and the Shines’ frenetic live performances. A trailer for the doc is above, and the clip shows the band living it up on the road and onstage.
What Is?! is due out on April 21 via Vice.
