
Khaaaaaaaaan is back! No, not dearly departed Ricardo Montalban, but King Khan and the Shrines, the garage-soul outfit based in Berlin and Montreal. Fresh of last year’s comp The Supreme Genius Of, Khan & the Shrines will be releasing 2007’s What Is?! for the first legitimate time in the U.S. on April 21st on Vice. One of the better live acts in the world at the moment, King Khan & the Shrines will be launching an extensive U.S. tour, highlighted by a showcase appearance at South By Southwest in March, as well as a gig at the ultra-modern downtown Manhattan Santos Party House.
