We kid because we love, Bono, and because of course you are just the slightest smidge insufferable, what with your private fleet of planes and Broadway musical. Still, a film called Killing Bono should at least feature Eric Stoltz or somebody chewing the scenery while planning a ridiculously over the top take out. All we actually get , however, is another story where Bono wins, as the film tells the true tale of two Dublin brothers who form a band that is overshadowed by U2. The one saving grace might have been hearing a young and unsure Bono perform a song with The Hype, the band that preceded U2. Instead, filmgoers will hear the song performed by the film cast. Some day, Bono. Just not today. [Indiewire]
