Kid Sister’s debut album Dream Date finally gets release date

It’s been quite a long time since she exploded onto the scene with “Pro Nails,” but Chicago-based MC Kid Sister has finally announced a release date for her debut album.

Now titled Dream Date (it was originally titled Koko B. Ware), the album is set to hit stores on September 23 (via Fool’s Gold, which recently joined up with Downtown Records for distribution). Whether that date holds up is questionable, but Kid Sister cancelled all her July tour dates in order to finish the album (it was originally slated for June/July release).

Kid Sister will be back on the road (theoretically) come August for some festival dates in Europe, a stop at Lollapalooza and a pair of dates on the Rock the Bells tour.

Kid Sister tour dates:
08.03 Chicago, IL: Lollapalooza
08.07 Gothenburg, Sweden: Way Out West Festival
08.08 Oslo, Norway: Oya Festival
08.16 Hasselt, Belgium: Pukkelpop Festival
08.23 Denver, CO: Rock the Bells Festival
08.30 Vancouver, British Columbia: Rock the Bells Festival
