Kid Sister's full-length debut was the album that would see never release, being pushed back about two or three times before it's indefinite push back in September. Now it seems like Kid Sister's debut, titled Ultraviolet, is finally ready done and ready to hit record store shelves.
The production on Ultraviolet is helmed by XXXChange, A-Trak, Sinden, and Herve among others, and the album was executive produced by A-Trak. Kid Sister recently divulged to Pitchfork that she wanted the album to have a more "hip-house" feel, so get hopefully come October we're all in for a party rap extravaganza.
Ultraviolet comes out Oct. 6 on Downtown Records. Tracklist below.
1. Right Hand Hi
2. Life on TV
3. Daydreaming
4. Let Me Bang 2009
5. Big n Bad
6. Pro Nails (feat. Kanye West)
7. Step (feat. Estelle)
8. Switch Board (feat. DJ Gant-Man
9. Get Fresh
10. 53421
11. You Ain't Really Down
12. Control
This is great news, but...come on. October my ass. If this only gets delayed TWO more times, I will be in shock.
theres only 6 songs on the album that haven't been released already. why the sudden name-change from dream date to ultraviolet? and if theres essentially no new material added since the last time the tracklisting was released, why the push-back?
