Kid Cudi & Dot Da Genius’ WZRD Album To Sell 70K Copies In First Week

One of the more interesting, and funny, Twitter rants in recent memory came via always-emotional rapper-singer Kid Cudi. He absolutely laid into his label, Universal Republic, by calling them “weak ass” several times because they apparently only shipped around 55,000 copies of the WZRD album. Additionally, he was pissed that they weren’t pushing lead single “Teleport 2 Me, Jamie” on the radio. But hey, even without all that proper promotion, the album is still projected to sell 70,000-80,000 units in its first week. That’s not the best number, of course, but it’s certainly not terrible.
