Kid Cudi Changes His Rock Band's Name, Starts New Label

Kid Cudi has been on the road lately and he's used that time to showcase some new material and make some big announcements. Two nights ago in New York City, he explained that he's changed the name of his rock band from Wizard to 2 Be Continuum. And even though he's only been playing guitar for nine months, he guarantees that the songs he has recorded thus far "are epic." Cudi also said that he's started a new label, Wicked Awesome Records*, after he left his old label, Dream On, two months ago. It will be interesting to hear if he can balance his two current projects -- the rap-driven A Man Named Scott mixtape and whatever album he's recording with 2 Be Continuum.

*I thought only New Englanders used wicked? Hmph.
