Kendrick Lamar To Be ‘Saturday Night Live’ Musical Guest On November 15

As fans await more new music from Kendrick Lamar, news has surfaced that the superstar rapper will be appearing on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on November 15 as the musical guest. This will be Lamar’s second guest spot on the coveted late-night slot, not including his surprise appearance with Imagine Dragons early this year. Actor Woody Harrelson will host the night.

Lamar previously shared new single “i” off of his hotly anticipated and as of yet untitled upcoming album (listen to the song below). It’s safe to assume he’ll be performing that song — which has recently gotten more public attention by becoming the NBA’s official 2014-2015 season theme song — perhaps with some other new material (like the newly rumored single “King Kunta”). Still, nothing is confirmed.

Lamar’s last album was the 2012 mega-hit good kid, m.A.A.d city, which he supported on SNL during his first performance. Watch a clip of Lamar performing the somber good kid, m.A.A.d city single “Swimming Pools (Drank)” during his guest spot below:
