Interweb reports have American Idol songstress turned rockstress Kelly Clarkson's new album being returned to singer after her label bosses heard it. Apparently none other than Clive Davis himself couldn't stand the harder-edged new material. Does this mean back to the drawing board for Ms. Clarkson? Does this mean drop the Mike Watt bass lines and +/- drummer Chris Deaner's contributions? Or will Clarkson press on with her artistic vision? I smell a possible Yankee Hotel Foxtrot!
