Katy Perry's New Album Titled 'Teenage Dream,' Beach House Not Happy
Your little sister's favorite lesbian-for-Billboard-hits singer Katy Perry has titled her third album Teenage Dream. Pretty solid title, I guess. Except that Beach House titled their third album Teen Dream, WHICH IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME TITLE. Beach House are understandably bummed, as they wrote on their Twitter. Now, let us all debate whether or not this was on purpose, how much better Beach House is than Katy Perry (or vice versa, if you prefer), and whether or not the are just the same title.* [Daily Swarm]

As someone who really loves Beach House's music and assumes that they are rational human beings I really hope that that Tweet was a joke or something.
such a bad title anyway...but i wouldn't be happy. i think they could be rational human beings and not be happy that someone stole your title just a few months after you made an album which will always be referred to by that name. yada yada

Like most pop music in top 40 radio, I would rather masturbate to Katy Perry than listen to her terrible "music." I don't care who's idea it was to name her album "teenage dream", but it was a low blow and Beach House had a right to be pissed.
