Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne To Judge Other Marginal Singers On American Idol

Those of you waiting for Joe Jonas will just have to wait. The guest judges who aren't Paula Abdul on tonight's stop on Simon Cowell's farewell tour are pop tarts Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry. While both ladies have had plenty of success on the charts, it will be interesting to see how either of them can muster the chutzpah to criticize another vocalist on national television. Maybe they were just brought in to comment on outfits or that certain something that makes an artist irresistible MTV and middle schoolers. [Idolator]
