Kanye West’s “Stronger” has been voted “Greatest Workout Song of All Time” in a competition held by Gold’s Gym, and the win raises a few questions. Are the “celebrities, fans of music and gym members” who voted responding to the muscularity of the song itself, or the particularly apt title? I’d guess some combination of the two. According to a press release from Gold’s, “Stronger” beat (the crap out of, presumably in some kind of roid-rage induced haze) a list of contenders that “included Eminem's "Lose Yourself," Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" and Guns N Roses "Welcome to The Jungle.”” The announcement also includes this great info:
"Other celebrities who took part in the charity-focused initiative included Will Ferrell, who nominated "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic; Mario Lopez, who nominated "Gonna Fly Now (AKA theme from Rocky)" by Bill Conti; Brooke Shields, who nominated "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner; Gabrielle Reece, who nominated "B.O.B." by Outkast; and Ryan Sheckler, who nominated "KickStart my Heart" by Motley Crue."
