Now that he's no longer touring with Jay-Z as The Throne, Kanye West has plenty of free time on his hands. This has led to a slew of new projects, one of which might even see him collaborating with the creators of Angry Birds. In addition, he's also apparently working on a new short film based on and set in the Middle East.
The Observer reports that Yeezy has sent his creative team to the region for a few weeks to "create an 'authentic' depiction of the culture." They're also apparently meeting with "film companies and government officials based out of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha, Qatar to explore the idea of a production." The Observer adds that there's "a heated bidding war for the contracts involved in bringing Mr. West’s vision to life."
Huh, what's next, Yeezy? How about some more music instead? [Pitchfork]
