Kanye West Tops Pitchfork’s Albums Of The Year List

    …And the bevy of publications (including us) naming Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has hit critical mass: Pitchfork, in a completely unsurprising development, given the 10.0 they hung on it, named the album as 2010’s best in its countdown this morning. The bigger surprise is how high Deerhunter ended up (#3), that James Blake hit the top ten (#8), and how tightly Pitchfork has staked itself in Ariel Pink’s side (#9).
