Kanye West To Perform At Macy's Thanksgiving Parade
Kanye West might not seem like wholesome family fare at present (especially after this) but the organizers of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade apparently think he’s a great fit for their annual event. West will keep some unusual company at the parade, with Jessica Simpson and Keri Hilson among the other artists slated to appear.
"We want to make sure we are capturing people who are in the zeitgeist," said Macy’s spokesman Orlando Veras. He is also at pains to point out that West will behave on the day, by stating that all the performances will be "family-friendly." Still, it’s likely that anyone associated with Macy’s will feel a little quickening of their pulses when West emerges.
