Kanye West Takes Over October's Issue Of XXL

The last few months have been good to Kanye West. Save for maybe that Justin Bieber atrocity, everything West has put out as part of his G.O.O.D. Friday music series has been pretty excellent, and his performance to close out the VMAs was kind of epic. The hot streak has seemed to embolden Yeezy, who had been pretty dormant since last year's VMAs. Case in point: the Louis Vuitton Don is taking over the October issue of seminal rap periodical XXL, taking on the role of Creative Director, curating 90 pages, and even penning the cover article about-- duh-- himself. Which might very well put an end to journalism as we know it. Oh well, let's get a few more stories in before the issue hits shelves Sept. 28. [Idolator]
