Rapping dynamo Kanye West is branching out into the search engine business. In between getting ready for his summer tour and putting the finishing touches on his book “Kanye-isms” to be released later this year, Kanye has launched a search engine that offers incentives for use. Those willing to hand over searching duties to Kanye (the website states that searches will not be tracked) earn “swag bucks” that can be redeemed for merchandise. A user receives one buck when registering, and then continues to cash in based on use, recommendations, and meeting other criteria. The bucks can then be redeemed at the Kanye West Store, which stocks everything from a twenty-buck copy of “Stronger” to an iPhone for four thousand dollars worth of swag. Among the other notable items are tickets to the Coachella Festival, various gift cards, and an X-Box 360 or Playstation 3. Possibly the hottest item in the store, though, is the untouchable Nintendo Wii for the low, low price of twenty six hundred swag bucks. Kanye really can find anything.
