Kanye West is rarely out of the headlines, and so it proved in September 2008 when he was involved in a scuffle with some paparazzi photographers at Los Angeles International Airport. The incident was infamously caught on camera, and has now resulted in a court case against the hip-hop star.
West wasn’t in court on Friday (May 15), but the Los Angeles City Attorney's spokesman, Nick Velasquez, says that the rapper's attorney entered a not guilty plea to the misdemeanor charges. The next scheduled hearing in the case isn’t until July 15, giving West plenty of time to prepare his case.
Misdemeanor battery, vandalism and grand theft are the charges West faces after breaking a camera flash during the incident. And if West decides to blog about the court case or the incident, there is now a helpful site available to make his caps-lock tirades more palatable.
