Kanye West was on The View yesterday for some reason, ostensibly to promote 808s and Heartbreak and to announce his joint tour with Lady Gaga. I understand times are tough for music stars these days, and they'll take any show that will have them, but is going on The View really a great way to promote yourself? Do suburban women really buy Kanye albums? I mean, sure, Kanye's interview is more heartfelt than most of his video interviews (he opens up about his moms), but it's still kind of a weird choice.
