Kanye West Creates His Own Twitter "Cool List"

It’s been difficult to keep Kanye West off Twitter since he joined the social networking service earlier this year, and it's proven to be the most effective way of keeping up with his current mindset. The days of West’s all-caps tirades on his blog now seem to be a distant memory as he churns out umpteen tweets every day.

His latest creation for the service is his self-styled “cool list,” which prompted West to invite his Twitter followers to tell him: “Who do you think the coolest famous creative people are?” His list that followed is pretty predictable fare, and was apparently inspired by a previous tweet in which he wondered what Thom Yorke was doing.

His page is now full of suggestions that he has retweeted, but West’s own list was, in his own words: "Sade, Ali, Jay-Z, Johnny Depp, Ralph Lauren, Sean Penn, Mos Def, Lil Wayne, Angelina Jolie, Thom Yorke, Ellen, Spike Jonze, MIA." A further tweet from West confirmed that he was highly enamored with his own idea: “I know this is an ironically uncool thing to state but this might have been one of the best questions in Twitter history lol!”
