Remember when Justin Timberlake played a young Elton John in the video for "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore"? Well, it looks like Timberlake could be reprising that role if the legendary British pop star has his way. NME reports that John is still working on his biopic, Rocketman, and his number one choice is Timberlake. It's not a lock and a definite choice hasn't been made, but John did reveal that the project is indeed moving forward in the meantime:
"We're making an announcement about that very, very soon," said John when asked about the film. "We have a director on board, and then it's just going to be a matter of getting the script exactly the way we want it. Lee Hall has written a script – he wrote Billy Elliot - and then we'll start trying to cast and plan."
What do you think? Should JT get the part or should John look elsewhere? While you're contemplating that, you can watch the "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore" video below.
