We told you that it got nominated; now we can tell you it won. Yes, Justin Timberlake's, Andy Samberg's and et. al.'s hilarious "Dick in a Box," made famous on a Saturday Night Live digital short, captured the award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics at this weekend's Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Too bad Timberlake wasn't on hand; maybe he would've exhorted SNL to feature more digital shorts in the same way he exhorted MTV to play more videos at the VMAs. (Laudable intentions, Justin, but do you really think the channel is going to drop The Hills anytime soon?) Because I doubt many people would deny those Samberg snippets are the best things on SNL right now.

Ha! Can a Lifetime Achievement Award for their great music video work be far behind? |

Okay, now that it's won an award, it needs to drop as an official single. Maybe with some remixes or some new Samberg duet b-sides. |

I am glad to see Color Me Badd's musical influence is finally being noticed by the academy.
