Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know that our coverage of Drake has been pretty heavy lately. But hey, dude's got one of the most-anticipated albums of the year, Take Care, set to drop tomorrow, so this is to be expected. And, actually, more often than not the news surrounding Drizzy and his record has been intriguing, if not conversation-starting. Such as this latest tidbit about the fact that Justin Timberlake was almost set to appear as a guest on Take Care.
If you saw JT's recent return to music in that awful FreeSol video, we think you'll agree that a better return would have been on Drizzy's album. But according to his recent interview with Billboard, it was actually not his fault that the former boy-band singer didn't make it onto the album.
"I mean I really wanted to work with Justin Timberlake on this project," says Drake, "and we came so close man, so close. He's just super busy, and not in the music mindset right now as far as creating."
L-a-m-e. You can read the rest of the story at Billboard. Take Care drops tomorrow, Nov. 15.
