Update: Oh wait, the paternity suit against Justin Bieber hasn't been dismissed after all. An attorney for Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old woman accusing the Biebs of impregnating her, told WGN in Chicago that the case is moving forward despite other words. You can read our original post on the news of its dismissal below.
Well, gossip fans, it was fun while it lasted, but it appears that the Justin Bieber paternity suit nonsense is over. Rolling Stone reports that the 20-year-old California woman who accused the singer of impregnating her has withdrawn her suit seeking child support. This comes nine days after the Biebs said he would take a paternity test to prove that he's not the father of the woman's three-month-old son. Maybe she heard that she could be charged with statutory rape given he was 16 and she was 19 when they allegedly knocked boots. And here I thought we might be seeing the Biebs doing the "you are not the father" dance on Maury. Oh well.
