Justin Bieber Admits That He Thought About Quitting Music After False Paternity Scandal

Poor little Justin Bieber has been finding out the hard way how it feels to be a man. Since all of his recent drama, including attacking a photographer, it’s easy to forget that late last year, Biebs was involved in a paternity scandal.

For those of you who forgot (or never knew in the first place), Mariah Yeater accused the teen heartthrob of knocking her up after a backstage tryst at one of his 2011 concerts. Needless to say, Bieber was not the father, but the stress surrounding the incident seemed to be a little too much for the young performer.

In an interview with Fabulous magazine, Bieber admitted that “at the beginning of it all I was in Florida, away from my friends and family and I was pretty sad. I got to the point where I thought, ‘I don’t want to do this. I just want to be normal.’ It was difficult because I’d never gone through anything like that.”

But he prevailed and actually said that the saga helped fuel his creativity, revealing that one of the tracks on his upcoming album, Believe, was written about the ordeal. Maybe on his next record, he’ll sing about suffering a concussion after running into a glass door.
