All it takes is a new release from a French electronic act to remind me why I think the French are so cool. Sure, you could also point to the food, art, film, or fashion, but its the music that makes or breaks the deal for me.
For those unfamiliar, house/electro duo Justice are the latest rising star in the canon of French superstar musicians.They will give Daft Punk, Air, and Cassius a run for their money in the debate over who the best group to come out of the country in the last decade is.
You might remember Justice's video for "Never Be Alone" winning best music video at the MTV Europe VMAs and sending Kanye into a temper tantum. This video is a flying cat away from being equally awesome. While this video may or may not be finished, it's still pretty damn cool as is, especially the end.
And since Justice is the definition of cool right now, I've decided to declare today to be Justice appreciation day at Prefix and i'm throwing in a bonus video of a DJ set they spun back in October.
I can respect the technique.
