Juno Awards Grossly Nickelback Heavy

The nominations for the Juno Awards were announced this week, and they finally prove Nickelback has something on all Canadians--the cock-rockers have garnered five nominations (including best album and single) for their latest album, Dark Horse.

But that's not the craziest news--Guns N' Roses got nominated (along with Jack Johnson, Metallica, AC/DC, and Coldplay) for Best International Album. Apparently the people in Canada (at least those who nominate for the Juno's) hate decent music.

As for the Best Alternative Album, that one's a race between Fucked Up, Chad VanGaalen, Black Mountain, Plants and Animals, and The Still.

nickelback sucks! You have to remember, this is like the Grammys in the USA, we celebrate sales over artistic achievement, as industry goons flood the streets of the yearly chosen city...
