Is she intentionally trying to pose like that infamous is-it-real-or-not picture of Bigfoot?
She's trying to teach us how to walk, I guess. Take big strides, swing those arms, and always face the camera, even when walking away from it. Thanks for the tip, Jules!
I was disappointed in this album. Last track had some of her old spark, but the rest was overproduced, Sheryl Crow-ish blandness. And I seem to remember her lyrics being clever and dryly witty, once. Now they're clunky, simplistic, trite, and seemingly designed for mass appeal "universality" instead of sounding personal and sincere. I kept thinking she was "inspired" by "typical" (cliched) relationship woes she'd read about in some woman's magazine, or an episode of Sex And The City, or something. Not her own real emotions or experiences.
