Since aligning himself with Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang movement last year, Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J has become one of rap's surprise solo breakouts. Now, the Memphis rapper is taking his career to the next stage by signing with Columbia Records and pop producer Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records.
Juicy will release his upcoming debut solo album under Columbia, Kemosabe and Taylor Gang. The record's title has yet to be announced, but it will include the Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz-assisted "Bands A Make Her Dance" single (which hit the iTunes store yesterday) and is due to arrive before the end of the year.
"For me to be teaming up with Dr. Luke, Columbia Records & Wiz Khalifa (TGod) on my new solo album, I’m really excited for this. We're gonna call ourselves the Powerhouse 3. Look out for more," said Juicy in a press release.
