The judge in Paul McCartney's divorce case had nothing but good things to say about the former Beatle, and a good heaping of criticism for his wife. The judge wrote that Mills gave "inconsistent and inaccurate" evidence. That's legalese for "you're full of shit."
He wrote, "Overall she was a less than impressive witness." Well, at the end of the day, we can all agree that taking a little lashing in the judge's 58-page ruling is a small price to pay for a $48.7 for the rest of your life, wouldn't you say, Heather?
The judge praised McCartney for giving balanced evidence through the six-day hearing. "He expressed himself moderately, though at times with justifiable irritation, if not anger," the judge wrote. "He was consistent, accurate and honest."
The judge said Mills enjoyed going on tour with McCartney "because she thoroughly enjoyed the media and public attention...to suggest in some way she was his 'business partner' is, I am sorry to say, make-belief...I wholly reject her account that she rekindled the husband's professional fame (after his first wife's death) and gave him back his confidence.
