Josh Homme Covers "What What (In The Butt)"

Well, there ya have it. Stone Age Queen and Death Metal Eagle Josh Homme went on the Comedy Central show Tosh.0 to play an acoustic cover of "What What (In the Butt)." He's joined by Samwell, the man, er, behind the song originally.

In case you didn't have the internet in 2007 and missed it, "What What (In the Butt)" was a YouTube sensation in which Samwell extolls the virtues of sodomy over a trashy 808 in front of a green screen. It's like something Peaches would've done, but more jokey.

Maybe Samwell is trying to add an extra minute to his faded internet fame. Maybe Homme is still responding to those rumors that he's a homophobe. Maybe both relics of the mid-'00s are just looking for publicity by doing a silly stunt on a television show no one has ever heard of. Who knows?!
