Jonsi Scores Cameron Crowe Movie

10 years after he helped break Sigur Ros into a (slightly) bigger audience thanks to including them extensively in the soundtrack to Vanilla Sky, Cameron Crowe has hired Jonsi, frontman of Sigur Ros, to score his new film, We Bought a Zoo. The film is due out on Dec. 23, and Jonsi is working on the score now. There have already been comparisons drawn between this and Trent Reznor scoring The Social Network, so I won't go there. So, either way, cool idea Cameron Crowe, even if you haven't made a competent movie since Almost Famous. [Playlist via P4K]
