Teen pop sensation the Jonas Brothers are on pace to sell 600,000 to 700,000 copies of their new album, A Little Bit Longer, by next week thanks to their fans (like my seven-year-old cousin who scolded me at a family wedding last weekend for writing about music and not liking the Jonas Brothers) buying more than 200,000 copies in only two days this week.
Thanks to Longer’s success, it’s projected that the band’s last album, Jonas Brothers, currently at number 11, may move back into the Top Ten. Which would make the Jonas Brothers the first group to have two albums in the Toop Ten that since NSync in 1999. [Billboard]
