Jon Jones Bashes Dan Henderson On Twitter
So much for Jon Jones showing respect to an MMA legend.
Jon "Bones" Jones took to Twitter on Sept. 1 to smack-talk Dan Henderson in the wake of the UFC 151 cancellation that left thousands of MMA fans fuming.
After a UFC fan tweeted to the champ "Thanks to (Jon Jones) I have no plans tonight," Jones responded "Thanks to the old man and his knee I don't either."
It appears that Jones was simply trying to make an ill-advised joke, as he later tweeted a much classier remark regarding UFC 151.
"Carrying the cross for my company's decision," he wrote. "If someone has to take the blame, I will accept full responsibility for the way UFC 151 was cancelled."
