Now if only we had government agencies that, you know, actually went after big government corruption like the Government Accountability Office we'd be set: According to a recent report, the GAO revealed that millionaires like Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and uh, Scottie Pippen, have all taken thousands of dollars in kickbacks for farm subsidies, because they own land that can be classified as farms.
For instance, Bon Jovi has a big section of land that he devotes to bee keeping, and Springsteen leases part of his land to an organic farmer. The GAO says we shouldn't use this information to demonize the musicians, but also, that we shouldn't give them this money. Okay? I guess? Read more here.
