Johnny Marr Adds Sitcom Theme Composer to Resume
Johnny Marr could have a valid claim as the current busiest man in the music world as the Smiths legend is not only riding high off his contributions to the soundtrack of the mega-hit Inception, but has composed the score for an upcoming Antonio Banderas film, is recording a new album with The Cribs and has just announced that he's penned the theme song for a sitcom to air on BBC's Channel 4.
NME reports that Marr has written and recorded the tune for the comedy, The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret, which stars Mr. Show and Arrested Development alum David Cross. Seems like a perfect fit for Marr, whose song "Life Is Sweet" (not a Chemical Bros. cover) will air when Todd Margaret debuts in the UK on October 1 at 10pm.

sure the song is gonna be cool and everything, but I'm mainly impressed that BBC 4 is picking ...Todd Margaret up. The pilot was amazing.
