Of all the influences I've ever picked up on in Radiohead's sound--'70s Krautrock, '80s Britrock, '90s bliptronics--I've never heard much of a reggae vibe in the band's work. Sure, that recent reggae remake of OK Computer worked quite nicely, but that was a case of the cart in front of the horse.Well, turns out Radiohead's avant-garde ax man Johnny Greenwood is a huge fan of reggae. He's curated Johnny Greenwood is the Controller, coming out March 6th on Trojan/Sanctuary. Greenwood spent six months digging through the Trojan archives to pare things down to his 17 favorite tracks. Does this mean a potential follow-up to Bodysong might go in a very different direction?
