Did this just turn into a movie biz blog, you ask? No, there's music news here to. This Friday, the director will present "A John Waters Christmas" at Royce Hall on UCLA's campus. Joining him will be fellow iconoclast Jonathan Richman, as well as many a surprise guest.
Keeping with the holiday spirit, on February 6 New Line Records will release A Date With John Waters, an album of warped love songs handpicked by Mr. Waters.
