Since the recent tour pairing of John Vanderslice and St. Vincent, we here at Prefix have leaned towards being more obsessed with Annie Clark (who is St. Vincent) then Vanderslice. So we haven't mentioned yet that the famed indie producer and performer will have a new album, Emerald City, out July 24 on Barsuk. And in September, after a July 28 appearance at the Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle, Vanderslice will hunker down for some extensive touring.
