John Lennon White Suit Finally Sells

There’s a final conclusion in the ongoing saga of the sale of John Lennon’s suit, and the outcome is unexpectedly cheap, considering. The white suit Lennon donned for the Abbey Road cover photo sold for $46,000, which is a pretty staggering example of deflation, since it sold for $120,000 in 2005. I guess times are tight all over.

A bunch of other items were also up for sale, including a 1972 Chrysler station wagon once owned by Lennon and wife Yoko Ono, which sold for a $5,500, a bargain in comparison. Especially if it still runs. [Spinner]
