John Hodgman, Neil Gaiman Jam With OK Go and Long Winters

· by

The cross-pollination of geek and indie-rock culture is now pretty much complete, and we have the video to prove it. At a recent taping of Wits, a Minnesota Public Radio program, geek-lit icons John Hodgman (best known as the P.C. dude in that long-running, immensely annoying series of Apple commercials) and Neil Gaiman (author of the Sandman comics and Coraline) wrapped up the series' season with a gigantic group sing-along. To help them out, the duo called on The Long Winters' John Roderick and OK Go's Damian Kulash to help whip up audience excitement. Just in case things weren't quite geeky enough for you, the makeshift ensemble features Hogdman brandishing a ukulele and tackling a version of The Turtles' "Happy Together." [BoingBong]
