Joe the Plumber to become Joe the talent-less country singer

Joe the Plumber—real name Samuel Wurzelbacher—the (sad) PR stunt John McCain tried to use to convey his ability to get down with the people, has apparently signed a contract with a Nashville PR firm that is eyeing an attempt to break Joe the Plumber as a country singer.

On Tuesday, Wurzelbacher joined country music artist and producer Aaron Tippin to form a new partnership that includes booking-management firm Bobby Roberts and publicity-management concern The Press Office to field the multiple media offers he’s received over the past few weeks.

Among the requests: a possible record deal with a major label, personal appearances and corporate sponsorships. A longtime country music fan, Wurzelbacher can sing and “knocks around on guitar” but is not an accomplished musician or songwriter, according to The Press Office’s Jim Della Croce.

I’m not sure what “knocks around on guitar” means (maybe he knows what it is, and can hold it to look like he knows what he’s doing), but I can’t imagine this is going to end well for Joey boy. If McCain goes down next Tuesday, Joe’s career will surely follow. [Politico]

About 85 album sales is my estimate. Do we win a date with Joe if we're correct?

What a dirt bag way of getting your 15 minutes of fame. Ah well, he can always fill in for that bimbo Hasselbeck.

We can only hope that the thinking world will never hear of Joe again after Tuesday. All you NASCAR nitwits can have him as he grasps for the very pinnacle of Douchebaggery.

The bad thing about Joe is that McCain's campaign is going to use him and then toss him aside. His life is over as he knows it. Keep an eye on Joe after the election. See what happens to him. Obama and McCain will do he same to you if you give them the chance. They both have their own set of special interests that they cater to and you are not one of them.
