Here’s a pretty strange video of (a perhaps stoned) Joaquin Phoenix talking to E! Online about quitting acting for a music career. In the clip, Phoenix says he’s done acting, to which the person interviewing him unwisely starts chuckling, making Phoenix walk off in a huff.
Apparently Phoenix wants the opportunity to make music as lasting as this, as opposed to making films as great as this. Bon voyage Joaquin. Talk to Billy Bob Thornton about his band. [via Idolator]

Oh dear. I agree with the interviewer, it's hard to tell whether he's being serious or extremely deadpan. Hopefully the latter.
