These actors who play musicians - they just can't seem to leave their roles behind. We've had Val Kilmer apparently possessed by the ghost of Jim Morrison since he made The Doors. And Jamie Foxx guesting on rap tracks channeling the voice of Ray Charles. Now we've got Joaquin Phoenix, who, as you should know, portrayed Johnny Cash in Walk the Line, recording with his own band. They go by the moniker The Lady is a Tramp. Alongside Phoenix in the group is Antony Langdon, formerly of Spacehog (a.k.a the Langdon of Spacehog not attached to Liv Tyler). The band is finishing up their first album with mixing duties manned by Creation Records founder Alan McGee and the Charlatans' Tim Burgess.
