With the release date of her hotly anticipated new album Y's rapidly approaching, Joanna Newsom is ready to hit the road for a month-long tour of North America beginning this Saturday in Salt Lake City. Newsom will be accompanied on the trek by a backing band of six. Expect some interesting instrumenation, including the accordion and bouzouki. Overall it sounds like it'll be an experience. Not quite as cool as seeing her perform solo in a Ukranian cultural center, but pretty cool all the same.
